Aenon is a blessing for me. I thank God for brining me here to be trained and also for blessing me with a new big family in this place. It was a very tough adjustment to my life when I first came to Aenon. Having to wake up early for devotion followed by duties such as cleaning, food preparation, exercise, farming, etc. I had never done most of these duties before I came to Aenon. Aside from all the duties, there were Bible and health classes to be attended with all the assignments to do, so there was very limited time for leisure. All the classes were conducted in English, with my limited ability in English and not to mention I was the only Indonesia and unable to converse in mandarin, so oftentimes I felt lonely when everyone else is interacting in mandarin. But, all the people in Aenon always encouraged me to do my best, I tried the best to study and do all the duties with my whole heart learning to be faithful in everything and not seeing them as burdens.

My father passed away in 2007 and my mother has stop working then, but she insisted me to come to study in Aenon. As the eldest child in the family, I felt bad to have my mother whom is not working and has to support me for my education. I tried to earn some money to cover my expenses. I never thought I could finished the two years training in Aenon but God has blessed and provided for my needs for the two years in Aenon. I have learned from this experience, I have learned who God is and how it is important for us to be thankful for His blessing everyday. I have learned in Aenon the need to surrender my life fully to God, to allow God to lead me in m life. I have really enjoyed my training in Aenon. The time when I could learn to care for health patients, to share with them the love of God and to be their friends.

God always has the best plan in mind for our lives but how easy it is for us as human to think that our plans are the best.

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

I pray for God to continue to lead my life and show me what His plan is for me next. So I am ready to go wherever He leads and do whatever He says to be an instrument and to be a blessing to other, as I allow God to lead me I believe He will guide me for the best of my life.
