Life @ Aenon

With the new location at the mountain terrian of Tamipin, Negeri Sembilan; Aenon Training Centre offers much more exciting and improved training programs. The beautiful natural environment and fresh air offer not only growth academically, but also physically and most importantly spiritually. Studying the Bible truths, learning practical skills: housekeeping, cooking, doing laundry, etc, and outreaching the community through canvassing, health screening, visitation, etc, are some of the training that are offered.

Besides studying, working, and farming in the training centre, there are opportunities to go on missionary trips to various places, both local and foreign countries.

Study

"The Holy Scriptures are the perfect standard of truth, and as such should be given the highest place in education. To obtain an education worthy of the name, we must receive a knowledge of God, the Creator, and of Christ, the Redeemer, as they are revealed in the sacred word." (Ed pp.17)

Each class taught at Aenon is uniquely taught with the Bible as the foundation of its principles. This is to allow each person to develop the personal relationship with the master teacher: Jesus Christ and to allow the Lord to teach each individual of His will through the agencies of the Holy Spirit.

Working

"An education derived chiefly from books leads to superficial thinking. Practical work encourages close observation and independent thought. Rightly performed, it tends to develop that practical wisdom which we call common sense. It develops ability to plan and execute, strengthens courage and perseverance, and calls for the exercise of tact and skill." (Ed pp.220)

To meet such an education Aenon provides work education in areas of cooking, patient caretaking, argriculture, housekeeping, laundry, breadmaking, etc.

Farming

Beside the Bible, nature is the second book of God. It is a source of pleasure and of instruction. Jesus Christ drew many object lessons from the natural world, likewise students at Aenon will have the opportunity to learn from nature the msyterious works of God.

Mission Trip/Outreach

Aenon provides an opportunity for students to participate in a mission trip (local or abroad) and also in outreach programs. We believe this is an important opportunity for students to utilize their learned skills and knowledge in serving; as well as acquiring practical experiences and exposure to the needs of world church bearing the call of the Gospel Commission.
